The difference between floor heating and radiator heating

As the weather turns colder day by day, we all want to install the heating equipment at home, so recently, more and more customers are consulting the floor heating. Many customers have some blindness in choosing the heating method. The most important question is to choose the water floor heating or the electric floor heating, and the second is to choose the floor heating or the radiator? Let's talk about the difference between floor heating and radiator?

Different installation effects

1. Floor heating is a concealed system. The pipes of floor heating are buried underground, which does not affect the wall decoration and furniture placement, and is not restricted by whether the wall can fix the support. This advantage is especially obvious in the space surrounded by floor glass. As the floor heating system is buried underground, it will increase the clear height of the room. Generally, the wet floor heating should be increased by 8 cm, and the dry floor heating should be increased by 4 cm.

2. Radiator heating is to install the radiator under the external window (if restricted, install it on the internal wall). Generally, it is installed in the open, and the pipeline is concealed under the ground. At present, the radiator generally adopts steel plate, aluminum alloy and copper aluminum composite radiator, and the pipeline adopts copper pipe and PEX pipe, etc. This way of installation occupies the horizontal space of the room, which affects the placement of furniture. The installation of radiator is restricted by whether the wall can fix the bracket.

Different heating effects

1. The heat dissipation mode of floor heating is mainly radiation heating. The heat is evenly radiated from the bottom to the top, which is in line with ergonomics. The temperature of the same layer of the room is even, and the temperature difference is small, which makes people feel that the head is cool, which is energy-saving and comfortable.

2. Radiator heating is a convection based heating mode. The radiator first heats the air around it to make the air form convection in the room so as to achieve the heating purpose. This heating mode is characterized by high temperature around the radiator. With the increase of the distance from the radiator, the temperature decreases, and the temperature difference at the same level is large, especially in large space rooms. Because this kind of heating is convective, the hot air is convective from the top to the bottom, the room temperature is hot and cool, which gives people the feeling that the head is hot and the feet are cool, and the comfort is relatively poor, but it is better than air conditioning heating.
